Betty is passionate about painting New Zealand’s flora and fauna, especially rare and endangered species and creatures that are mostly unknown to us. She is also fascinated by plant and animal species under threat around the world. Betty hopes her wildlife conservation t shirts featuring watercolour, coloured pencils and embroidered pictures can help raise awareness for vulnerable species and encourage protection of the environment. She aims to paint as many native New Zealand species as possible.
