Melissa is a contemporary Māori artist from Motueka. The name Koko and Three pays homage to her tīpuna and her three beautiful boys. As an artist, Melissa dabbles in a range of mediums but mostly watercolour paints and digital. Melissa’s background is in Psychology and Criminology but she recently decided to explore her love of art, making space to do more creating and also began studying Arts Therapy. Her pieces are inspired by her whakapapa and her own personal journey.
