"My sister is the inspiration behind ‘Kozy Kiwi’. She is an incredible human. I chose the kiwi to represent her because it is a chilled-out bird. It may seem shy at first, but if you look a bit closer, you'll see all the shades, layers, and patterns that make the kiwi so beautiful. As I was creating this artwork, my sister attended her first Pride event. With that, her love of being cozy in an oodie, and the level of coolness she embodies, I find myself inspired to capture her essence in my work."
