This square throw pillow cover features a whimsical art print of a lucky New Zealand Penny old coin with a Tui bird and kowhai flowers. The design was first hand-drawn in black pen and then watercolour painted. This is digitally signed by the artist.
"Finding a penny on the ground is said to bring good luck. The saying goes, "Find a penny, pick it up, and all day long you'll have good luck." However, since pennies haven't been in circulation in New Zealand for a long time, it's rare to see one on the ground. But as my name is Penny, I have been lucky enough to receive several over the years, and I must admit, I often consider them to be a good luck charm."
