doodlewear 'Perched Kōtare' (2021) tea towel by Coromandel Peninsula based Artist Jodi McAuley. These tea towels feature an art print of a NZ Kōtare bird, also known as a Kingfisher, painted in watercolour, gouache and ink. The artist has digitally signed this artwork. This NZ decorative tea towel will add style to your kitchen's decor.

"For most of 2020 and half of 2021, I was elbow-deep in an artist block where I just couldn’t paint or even draw - partly from all the work I did to get ready for my first exhibition in March 2020, and partly as a reaction to the stress and anxiety around the Pandemic. Even though my brain knows I need to paint for my mental health! During Lockdown August 2021 I did a couple of online workshops by Birdy Design with my kids, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and after that, I couldn’t stop painting! I credit this piece with getting my mojo back.”
