Quality 100% cotton large Tea Towels featuring 'Strawberry Jam Crown Lynn Nautilus Vase' (March 2024) Crown Lynn nautilus vase tea towel by Contemporary New Zealand artist and doodlewear owner Anna Mollekin. These quality decorative tea towels feature an art print of digitally drawn artwork of a Pōhutukawa and strawberry arrangement in an iconic white New Zealand Crown Lynn Nautilus vase. The artist digitally signed it.
"I have an affection for vintage items; they evoke such strong feelings of nostalgia. Among them, Crown Lynn Pottery holds a special place in my heart for its iconic and nostalgic charm. This admiration inspired me to arrange a bouquet of strawberries and Pōhutukawa in a vase, creating a luscious red centrepiece. My aim was to capture joy, beauty, and the unique nostalgia associated with pairing these two elements. The Pōhutukawa flower, an iconic symbol of New Zealand, resonates with summer vibes, while strawberries evoke memories of childhood, with many of us having fond recollections of picking strawberries in backyard patches and enjoying preserves, especially homemade strawberry jam given from our grandparents."
