"As with most of my work, this piece had to incorporate my love for New Zealand native birds. Robins kept popping into my mind whenever I thought about what to do. This would then set me off singing "Rockin' Robin," one of my favourite songs from my primary school singing assembly days. When I think of "Good Vibes," I think of good times with music, and thus "Retro Rockin' Robins" was born."
