"This artwork was inspired and hand-drawn digitally from a photo I took of a Snapper my husband Ben caught fishing. I was so enchanted by its striking, strong form and pattern and the shimmer of its scales. Through expressive pattern play and ink marking, I worked on a series exploring the form of the snapper. In this artwork, I experimented with organic shapes and embraced imperfection as perfection."
